Field Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Must haves:
- High School diploma or GED
- 0 - 2 years of experience as a Field Technician
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50lbs


Looking for a field technician to do quality control work on various construction sites.

- You will be performing concrete compaction testing on construction sites.
- Must have the ability to lift buckets of concrete repeatedly while on certain sites.
- 90% of the time will be in the field on construction sites providing over site and collecting samples.
- 10% of the time will be in the lab testing samples (candidates will be trained to do this)
- Ability to travel up to 1 hour to job sites
- Observing and documenting field activities
- Sampling, testing, and inspecting soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement
- Performing calculations and data reduction of test results along with drafting
- Using field screening equipment and documenting readings
- Reading maps, following directions, and interpreting engineering and construction plans
- Interacting and communicating daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
