A large medical facility in Spokane, WA is looking for Medical Technologist professionals to join their team
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, results reporting, instrument maintenance, and technical problem resolution. This is a technical position. Typical work situations require performing multiple tests with exacting accuracy and rapid turnaround time. Medical Technologists perform manual and automated procedures, operate instruments that are computer interfaced and use networked computer information systems. This position requires a service-committed individual, who is detail oriented and can perform complex data analysis, exercise sound, independent judgment and demonstrate critical thinking skills. The Medical Technologist may assume some administrative responsibilities and act as a resource for other laboratory personnel as well as for "external customers" such as physicians, and patient care staff
QUALIFICATIONS
- MT, MLS, or CLS certifications required
- 1+ year of experience in a comprehensive lab testing environment
Various rotating shifts available: 3 night shift and 1 day shift. Shifts will be four 10-hour days.
This will be a full-time permanent opportunity offering a 5k sign-on bonus in addition to a competitive hourly wage and benefits
