Program Leader/Recruiter - Part-time

If so, this role could be the one for you.  The Role We are currently seeking a friendly, self-motivated and outgoing individual to join our team of Program Leaders in Florida. Our PLs are responsible for recruiting volunteer families to host students for a 3 to 4 week immersion program in Southwest Florida during the summer, in addition to managing all operational aspects of our student programs. The role is part-time October – June and full time during the 3 to 4 - week program in July or August. Host Family Recruitment Responsibilities: This portion of the role is part-time and includes all aspects of host family recruitment, such as: Generating new leads for host families via telemarketing, street action, attending community events, etc.Running events for our existing host familiesMaintaining a computerized databaseConducting Host Family visits and reference checks Program Leader Responsibilities: This portion of the role is seasonal full-time and includes managing all aspects of program coordination leading up to and during the students' trip. Planning and confirming all student activitiesProviding operational support for students, host families and international staffResponding to host family inquiries and logistics questions on a daily basisManaging a budgetEnsuring student safety and satisfaction during their time in the United States Candidate Requirements Committed, reliable, outgoing and personable with strong communication skillsHighly motivated, energetic, positiveSales, telemarketing or customer service experience is preferred but not requiredConfident on the phone with new, existing, and former host familiesHappy to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends).Happy to work outdoors come rain or shine About Us We're 46,500 small.
