Our dock associates are the backbone of our facilities. Using digital scanners and top-notch modern equipment, they manage the day-to-day loading and unloading of freight throughout our system in a safe and professional atmosphere. Due to the familiarity with how we work, they make great candidates for operational leaders when new positions open.
This dock position REQUIRES a CDL-A license as you will be a "fill-in" driver and run local routes as needed. Roughly 70% of your time will be working the dock and the remaining 30% will be driving. While working on the dock you will make $18.50/ hour, while driving $20.50/ hour.
PRIOR DOCK/WAREHOUSE/FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Essential functions:
- Load freight - lift requirement: 80 lbs
- Unload freight -lift requirement: 80 lbs

- Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
- Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
- Count freight
- Complete bill of lading
- Complete fuel tickets
- Obtain sales leads
- Secure extra shipments
- Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs
- Complete delivery receipt
- Perform pre-trip inspections
- Drive
- Regular predictable attendance
