Under the general supervision of the Director of EP Services the Nurse Educator participates as a member of the EP Team in the orientation of new staff and identification, assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of educational needs for all staff members.
The Nurse Educator also routinely provides direct patient care as a staff nurse.
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing Experience Minimum three to five years of clinical experience in an acute care setting and experience with formalized course development and instruction.
Preferred: Advanced experience in the EP Lab setting monitoring cases with an in-depth understanding of cardiac arrhythmias and anatomy Licenses and Certificates Required: Texas RN license; Current BLS Provider; Recent health care experience Preferred: Certification in Specialty
