Custodian/Maintenance

Custodian/Maintenance Department: Facilities Lansdale Borough has an open position for a part-time custodian/maintenance worker in the Facilities Department. This is an entry-level position starting at $18.81 and is responsible for providing custodial and maintenance services for Lansdale Borough properties including but not limited to: cleaning and supplying restrooms, cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming, emptying trash, removing snow and spreading melting products, watering borough trees, plants, shrubs. This is a part-time position from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Must be flexible to work additional hours/days as needed which will occasionally include weekends. Health benefits are not available for this position. Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Possession of, and the ability to maintain, a valid PA drivers license. Experience with operation of wet vacuums, buffers and carpet extractors and previous cleaning experience are preferred.
