Avon, Oh company has an immediate opening for a Punch Press Set-up/Operator.
$14.50+, depending on experience
Hours: 1st shift 7:00am-5:00pm, Mon Thur, 7:00am-4:00 Fri, possible Sat 6:00am-11:00am
Temp-to-hire potential
Duties include:
Performs typical progressive die and press operations (troubleshoot)
Setup and remove tooling
Setting up coil material, mounting dies and running production on automatic presses
Conduct visual quality inspections during production runs
Monitoring equipment/tooling during production stamping
Assist in setting up steel coil on larger press
Requirements include:
3+ years of setup/operator experience on 40-200 ton progressive die automatic presses
Able to read micrometers and dial calipers
Able to use check fixtures/gauges
Able to load coils of raw material
Able to set straighteners & feeders
Understanding of cam settings and die protection a plus+
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., stand, pull and bend
High school diploma/GED preferred, not Mandatory
Prescreen testing is required
