Erie county, Ohio based company has an immediate opening for a Welder/Fabricator
$16.00 - 18.00Hour, depending on experience
Hours: 1st shift Monday Friday 7:00am 3:30pm
Temp-to-Hire potential
Duties include:
Perform welding duties using a wire welder
Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts
Set up to fabricate parts
Operate forklift, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders and cutting torch
Inspect and correct welds to meet specifications
Willingness to cross-train
Inspect equipment
Perform a variety of complicated tasks
Requirements include:
Familiar with a variety of welder concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to understand welding symbols and diagrams, read prints
Familiar with welding equipment such as torches, torch tips, filler rods, flux, hoses, valves, and gas cylinders
Able to work independently
Must have a strong work ethic
Understanding of machine shop operations
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Prescreen testing required
HS/GED required
