Position Summary and Essential Job Functions:
Primary duties will include Order Selection, Hand Picking of products, sorting, staging, and transporting products in and out of the Distribution Center. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision. Following Home Depot safety policies and procedures is required.
Responsibilities will also include:
Follows Home Depot safety policies and procedures and encourages other Associates to do the same.
Safely operates Raymond Electric Pallet Jacks or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as Order Selection, Hand Picking, sorting, staging, and transporting products.
Position entails 80% Hand Selection of product and 20% operation of Raymond Electric Pallet Jacks for transporting products.
Works cooperatively and productively with Department Heads and other Associates in order to complete tasks.
Arranges cartons in pallets keeping in mind sixe, weight, height, etc.
Loads trucks keeping in mind cubic weight, size and characteristics (i.e., easily crushable, etc.) in mind.
Works productively with little supervision
Provides and inspires outstanding service to customers (i.e., stores, etc.) by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
Maintains condition of Distribution Center work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
Duties, responsibilities and work schedules are subject to change, based on business needs.
Work Schedule:
1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm or work completed/ Hours may vary & overtime may be required on short notice
2nd shift 3:30pm-12:00am or work completed/ Hours may vary & overtime may be required on short notice

Accountable for submitting coach and counsel forms
Dress Code:
Shoes must be closed toe and closed heel
Sneakers or Work boots, flat sole
Clean shirts, blouses. No logo's permitted
Jeans or long pants in neat, clean condition
Shorts provided they are in season and less than 3 inches above the knee
No clothing with advertising, logo's, offensive images or profanity
No shirts that have bare torsos or low cut
No visible pierced body jewelry
No leggings/Spandex
Staffmark provided apron must be worn at all times in the building
