Survey Party Chief - Full-time / Part-time

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Survey Party Chief for our Worcester, MA office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Management of the field aspects of projects
• Working closely and collaboration with a dynamic team of experienced professionals
• Performance of boundary & topographic surveys
• Performance of engineering design surveys
• Performance of construction layout and GPS surveys

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS Diploma is required; Bachelor's degree is a plus
• 9+ years surveying experience, including 3 years survey crew chief experience
• Experience with Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Construction Layout, & GPS Surveys
• Experience with Auto CAD Civil 3D for editing field data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Successful candidate must be willing to travel from time to time
• Valid driver's license. Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• L.S.I.T. registration
• Experience with Leica Robotic Total Stations
