Senior Buyer B - Full-time / Part-time

The Engineering Senior Buyer is responsible for managing all procurement and related activities for outsourced design and development services supporting Powertrain, Vehicle Development, Product Design, Quality, and UConnect. This role will also support the various processes and procedures of the Indirect Purchasing department, while driving improvements to the organization and improving efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multi-task; have excellent time management skills and the ability to set priorities independently. This position requires strong leadership, ability to work at a fast pace, and effectively communicate to upper management. Additionally, this position will require management of all aspects of the supplier relationship, including contract maintenance, achievement of annual cost savings targets, and development of supplier/commodity strategies.
