Chief Financial Officer (Raytheon UK)

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the Finance function, be a true business enabler in a US financial reporting environment. The CFO is a key role for the Raytheon UK (RUK) Leadership team, with Operational, Strategic, Leadership and People Development elements all critical to the success of this role.
Role and Responsibilities
Create and lead the financial strategy for the business to achieve its strategy and growth objectives over the next 3 to 5 years for the RUK & ELCAN businesses.
Lead the finance function to achieve its mission to continue its growth and be world class business & function
Provide actionable insight & analysis into the key drivers of business performance
Maintain a highly effective and robust internal control environment
Be the senior sponsor of business improvement initiatives, such as the Transformation & Affordability project
Working closely with the CEO to ensure Financial business considerations are supporting business decisions and Finance Lead for the RUK Senior Leadership team
Represent UK & ELCAN at the RTX
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS)
Finance Team level
Be a critical sounding board for the CEO and the leadership team
Create strong working relationships with internal RTX stakeholders in the UK, ELCAN and US
Responsible for
small team of direct reports and overall function of approx. 80 people across UK and ELCAN, Canada
Required skills and experience
Strong Business Acumen
Senior Business-facing role
Working in a process and data-driven organisation
Proven experience in leading a finance function
Working in different business environments across a complex international large scale technology business growth, consolidation, turnaround/contraction
Working on large scale cross-functional/cross-business projects (e.g., cost reduction, process improvement)
Working in a business with a matrix or complex management structure
Working as part of an International Organisation
Understanding of working in a Regulated or other Business to Government business, desirable
Excellent track record in strategic and commercial financial management
Qualifications:
Degree and Professional Finance or Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
