Senior Operations Manager- Urgent Care Clinics in Portland , Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Senior Operations Manager (1.0 FTE, Days) to the Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.

We are seeking for a Senior Operations Manager who will provide on-going leadership and operational oversight of Urgent Care clinics within Providence Medical Group (PMG), Portland metro area. Responsible for development and implementation of management and patient care systems to ensure cost-effective, timely and quality operations in an environment of high growth and constant change. Leads Clinic Managers in the development and implementation of clinical best practices. Ensures patient care and access to services, in a timely manner that is sensitive to the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient. Leads or participates in PMG-wide special projects, committees or task forces.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Responsible for the financial and operational performance of PMG's Urgent Care clinics in the Portland metro area.

Hire, train and lead Clinic Managers to support the day-to-day operations of the clinics, including staffing, supplies, facilities, information technology, scheduling and capital planning.

Identify and implement consistent policies, procedures and practices to gain operational efficiencies and improve patient satisfaction.

Work with Clinic Managers to develop the Urgent Care annual operating budget and ensures that the individual clinics are meeting budget guidelines.

Lead Clinic Managers and their staff in developing patient-driven workflows that assure quality and cost-effective care.

Work effectively with the Clinic Medical Directors, Provider Resource Department, System partners, Recruitment, Training, Safety & Compliance, Real Estate & Construction, Marketing and other key service departments.

Instill a patient-driven, quality improvement attitude and work ethic within the clinics and ensures that all staff are focused on building strong relationships with all stakeholders and customers.

Attend clinic staff and provider meetings to better understand the clinic operations and opportunities for improvement.

Ensure ongoing mission effectiveness for all staff employees within the clinics.

Qualifications:

Required qualification for this position includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field -OR- Combination of education and on-demand care work experience

Preferred qualification for this position includes:

Master's Degree

2 years of on-demand care experience

5 years of healthcare experience, physician practice management and/or clinical operations.
