Wash Greeter - Full-time / Part-time

Auto Spa Etc. is part of a local family business that was started in 1977 by Harold “Red” Hurlbut and continued by Phil Hurlbut. Giving back to our community and watching high school kids work as they become young adults are just a few of the many gratifying moments of our days. The business has expanded and the company now includes 3 Full service car washes, and a Detail Center as well as 2 Express car washes in the St. Louis area and 2 Express car washes in Illinois. The Car Wash Greeter position is extremely important for Auto Spa Etc Express. In this position you are responsible for providing all customers with a high-quality wash with attention to detail during prep. It is your responsibility to prepare and determine that the vehicle is ready for the tunnel. You are to leave the customer with the best impression of our service and what our company offers.


What Will You Do?

Key Responsibilities: 
•	Perform exterior car cleaning activities as trained
•	Pay attention to nuances of vehicles and treat each Customer’s personal vehicle with great care and respect keeping the Finishing and Detail Area’s clean and well kept
•	Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed and prescribed by the General Manager and supervisors
•	Act with integrity when dealing with cash and splitting of tips with other Employees
•	Follow the established dress code
•	Come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock.
•	Maintaining presentation/ cleanliness of property

Requirements:
•	Team Player
•	Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co workers
•	Ability to stand for more than 8 hours, walking, stooping, reaching, kneeling, crouching/squatting. Frequent to occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 20-50lbs is required.
•	Ability to work in all weather conditions.
