Automotive / Automotive Service Manager / 19-09140 - Full-time / Part-time

SUMMARY

An Auto and Tire Center has immediate openings for experienced Service Managers. In this role, the manager will work with customers on automotive maintenance services. This is a great opportunity for those who have prior automotive retail experience and enjoys working with the public. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets customers in person and over the phone
• Determine and understand customer needs
• Communicate between the technician and customer any problems with the vehicle
• Deliver superior customer service
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Hire, Manage, support, and motivate the service technician staff
• Overall sales, marketing and inventory responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and organized repair shop for our customers and fellow employees

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of automotive repair market
• Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a team of certified technicians
• Computer skills
• Enthusiasm, ambition, and self-motivation
• Goal and solutions oriented
• Ability to adapt, learn, and execute in a fast paced team environment
• Valid driver's license

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma required
• College degree or coursework a plus
