: General Summary: This position is a 3rd Shift position ( 9:00 pm -5:30 am) 6 days per week, and reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. You will be responsible for cleaning the production areas and preparing the lines for the next day of production. You may be asked to perform other various job functions supporting sanitation goals and objectives. You are responsible for understanding and upholding GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and the 3 Pillars of Brothers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Report ready to work at your scheduled time · Adhere to company policy as described in the Brothers Employee Handbook · Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness · Conduct yourself in a clean and respectful manner while on property and off the clock (parking lot, locker room, employee bathroom, employee break room) · Follow company time clock rules · Understand and follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) · Understand how bacteria can grow and apply this knowledge to the conditions of your daily duty · Utilize approved SSOP’s (Standard Sanitary Operating Procedures) when cleaning, especially pertaining to chemical safety · Wear assigned PPE (personal protective equipment) while working · Utilize proper body mechanics while performing specific tasks · Prepare production lines for the next day as detailed by the production schedule · Uphold the 3 Pillars of Brothers o SAFETY (personal safety, food safety, equipment safety) o QUALITY (any question? ALWAYS ASK) o EFFICIENCY (minimize time to complete tasks to meet standards, conserve resources) · Report any situation that may compromise any of the 3 Pillars · Be a team player Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: · Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed possibly including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays · Must be willing to work overtime when needed · Show up to work with a positive attitude ready to work Preferred Qualifications: · High school diploma, or equivalent · Food manufacturing experience is a plus · A stable work history is a plus · Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
