General Production Worker

Steel Processing company that buys and sells steel. They have a large industrial warehouse in Chicago Heights which is responsible for loading and unloading large amounts of steel beams on and off of trucks. Sugar Steel is responsible for cutting, transporting, bending, and grinding steel to customized customer orders.


Shifts & Openings:
1st Shift

1 - Saw operator-(CNC operator / Machine operator will most definitely be qualified to be a saw operator) $15 - $18 based on experience

1 - General laborer $12 - $14

1 - Burn operator -Plasma burning background helpful. (CNC operator will be able to become a burner) $18 - $20 based on experience

2nd Shift

1 - Overhead Crane operator(remote control cranes is a huge plus) $16 - $20 based on experience

1 - Side Loader operator This is basically a stand up forklift operator $16 - $20 based on experience

2 - Saw operator (CNC operator / Machine operator will most definitely be qualified to be a saw operator)

3rd Shift

2 - Burn operator -Plasma burning background helpful.(CNC operator will be able to become a burner)

2 - Saw operator -(CNC operator / Machine operator will most definitely be qualified to be a saw operator)

1 - Overhead Crane operator-(remote control cranes is a huge plus)
