Fuel Dispatcher

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Develop and key daily driver routes into company dispatch routing system
*Continuously monitor dispatch programs, GPS, and driver communication
*Manage and schedule loads for inventory managed accounts
*Maintain constant communication with Drivers for delivery updates to be able to complete orders in dispatch routing system
*Provide pertinent information to drivers regarding pin numbers, customer complaints, customer specific requests, equipment needed, etc.
*Use effective listening skills to collect required information and escalate pertinent information

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

*High School Diploma or GED
*Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights and weekends
*Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts
*Must be on call as needed
*Must be a team player
*Working knowledge of DOT and transportation
*2-3 years of freight/truck dispatching experience required (preferably in fuel industry)
