 Avallon & Associates has been serving the greater Madison area for many years and currently provides superior accounting, payroll, and tax services to our community. We have an opening for an accountant with 3 or more successful years of experience in public accounting. Ideal candidates should have the following skills and background:

• Ability to meet effectively with clients
• Ability to research and explain tax and accounting issues effectively
• Ability to convey confidence and trustworthiness to clients
• Solid experience with QuickBooks accounting software
• Ability to complete simple to complex individual tax returns
• Ability to complete sales tax, payroll tax and personal property tax returns
• Ability to follow workflow systems and office procedures for efficiency
• Ability to work as a team and promote positive morale
• CPA or EA designations are desirable but not necessary

Due to Covid, our office is anticipating utilizing client drop offs for the upcoming tax year with very few in person meetings. We plan on trying to keep most correspondence with clients to either phone conferences or email to limit contact. We are a Covid conscious office making the safety and health of our clients and employees  as a top priority.
