Showroom Consultant/Customer Service Rep.

Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Representative assists as a “design consultant” assisting retail customers in selection the tile granite products that will achieve their design and durability objectives. CSR will be responsible for using design skills and product knowledge to educate the customer so that they make satisfying product selection to promote the best buying available. Product training is provided. This is a non-commissioned sales position. Occasionally you may be asked to help support our other local locations.

Requirements:

Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
2+ year’s retail sales Skills in professional environment.
Basic computer skills working within windows environment.

Knowledge of design elements: size, proportion, color, balance and light.

Math Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Prior work experience working with tile, stone, granite or slabs desired
Basic computer skills working within Windows environment.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Physical Demand: Employee is regularly required to stand, occasionally required to stand and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or mover up to 15 pounds and occasionally life and/or move 25 pounds.

The work environment is friendly and noise level is very moderate.
