Painter - Full-time / Part-time

Springfield, Ohio well-established manufacturer is seeking an experienced, full-time industrial painter. 

 

         1st shift, Monday-Friday.

         Pay $13/hr minimum to start. 

         Position is subject to overtime.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

         Use conventional and airless paint applications for large metal manufactured products; efficiently spray wash, mix paint, hang, and apply paint coating.

         Read and understand blueprints for finished item coating.

         Move components and final assemblies using lifting, hoists and forklifts.

         Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment.

         Care for and protect assigned tools.

         Any other duties as may be required.

 

 

Requirements include:

 

         High school diploma or GED.

         Forklift and/or hoist experience.

         Experience with industrial and military coatings required.

         Must be thorough and exercise attention to detail.

         Ability to read blueprints and/or other written specifications. 

         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

         Must possess analytical thinking and reasoning skills.

         Prescreen testing required.

         Protective gear required (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses).
