About this job

Providence is calling a full time, day shift Telemetry Charge Nurse to our Step Down Unit at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills CA.

In this position you will:

* Organize and direct the delivery of patient care

* Promote and enforce the interdisciplinary plan of care, procedures, policies, practices, ethics and standards of the facility

* Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships between multidisciplinary team members that include the staff, physicians, patients and their family members

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Nursing degree/diploma required upon hire

* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); or must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hiring; or at least 20 years of RN experience

* Unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) License

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association

* Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association

* At least 2 years of acute care/Telemetry experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelor's Degree (BSN)

* NIHSS Stroke Certification
