What do our Graphics Designers do?

The Graphics Designer works independently on assigned projects, or as a member/manager of a project team. The Senior Graphics Designer designs concepts and completes assignments according to strategic/creative input and previous designs. The position will report to the Director of Brand and Content marketing and work with members of the marketing department, sales, sales support and other departments to ensure continuity for each individual brand across the global estate within North America. The colleague will also work with vendors to complete design requirements or to supervise their promotions and productions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage the timely and cost-efficient production of all marketing related collateral, sales tools, including but not limited to brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, retention and acquisition pieces, flyer's, newsletters, signage, banners, interactive design, presentations, email campaigns and other related projects.
  • Design original corporate communication pieces, including illustrations, info-graphics, digital brochures, emails, digital advertisements, and video.
  • Manage all the printing projects to ensure quality and perfect final product outcomes.
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products and services.
  • Enhance marketing appeal and aesthetic of all digital properties.
  • Liaise with both Marketing Managers and Marketing Directors for projects, company and brand direction, and to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Manage project design work from inception to completion.
  • Stay current with the latest industry developments, advancements and tools.
What do you need?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design - required
  • 6+ years of experience with Graphic Design - required
  • 5+ years of Vendor Management experience - required
  • 5+ years of Copyright experience - preferred
  • 5+ years of Videography and Photography experience - preferred
  • Possess In-depth experience with PC systems and products.
  • Be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Premier, AfterEffects) and set up files for print and digital distribution. Additional experience with the Google Platform, Workfront, and Office products is a bonus
  • Have strong attention to design, content, and copy details.
  • Possess highly developed skills in core design programs with knowledge of the overall design process from concept development to final print production digital output, including editing and file management skills.
  • Manage projects and supervise internal and external design personnel.
  • Possess strong aesthetic and design skills that are target audience-centric and fall within brand guidelines.
  • Be able to work efficiently with production layout schematics and desktop publishing for all collateral materials and pieces.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be independent and have initiative to start and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Be creative, organized, and able to multitask and be a team player while also occasionally taking leadership roles when required.
  • Be able to delegate responsibilities to vendors and creative staff and be able to continuously manage them to achieve the department's goals.
  • Work successfully within tight time constraints and budgetary limitations.
  • This is a full-time position. While the Senior Graphics Designer will report to an office, occasional travel to North America sites may be required. There may be overnight travel required.
  • Work Schedule: This job tends to have regular office hours but may have extended hours due to time-sensitive deadlines and time frames.
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search.
