Job Description: QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree preferred.
- Good player.
- Computer knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively on all levels.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ensure golfers are greeted in a professional manner.
- Open the Golf Shop.
- Point of sale operation.
- Answer the phones.
- Schedule tee times.
- Check-in and registration of golfers.
- Keep the shop neat and clean. Upkeep of merchandise displays.
- Become knowledgeable of products sold in the Golf Shop.
- Direct the shop staff and cart staff as required.
- Assist with tournaments and outings as needed.
- Develop a strong knowledge of each job in the golf operation to manage or fill in when needed.
- Comply with property policies and procedures.
- Communicate daily with staff and other departments in regard to duties and activities.
- Responsible for department and equipment cleanliness, safety and appearance.
- Respond to any reasonable task requested by the Director of Golf Operations or General Manger.
