Job Description:

  • 7 plus years of experience as a Senior Java Developer 

Mandatory Required Skills:

  • Java, Groovy

Preferred /Desired Skills:

  • Willingness to engage with customers regularly.
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Good understanding of agile development methodologies and the ability to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to.
  • Can-do attitude – Ability to perform under pressure and ambiguous business climate.
  • Good Understanding of CI /CD pipeline
  • Good understanding of the Object Oriented Programming Concepts

Responsibilities:

  • Co-Design, develop, test, tune and implement n-tiered Cloud-hosted Bot-Apps & UI-apps
  • Collaborate with Business Product Team, other Agile/Development teams, Enterprise Architecture and with various Client Operations Business Units to design, develop, test, and maintain the various Bot-Apps, UI-Apps & Automation platforms and their integration with other systems
  • Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining platform road map
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems
  • Work collaboratively with QA, DevOps, Release Management teams to adopt CI/CD toolchain and develop automation
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups regularly as part of product/project support
  • Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture
  • Providing Support for fixing existing business process in production
  • Perform bug fixes/enhancements for the existing business process
  • Provide support for QA acceptance testing and fix defects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, or related field required
  • Previous experience outside of the classroom such as an internship, hackathon, research project, or related experience preferred
  • Classroom experience directly related to this opportunity
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Around 7  years of hands on experience as a Senior Java Developer in agile environment at a complex enterprise scale
  • Financial Industry knowledge and experience is required,
  • He or she must-have IT experience and track record of applying innovative techniques to solve business problems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Ability to work with various teams to resolve issues in timely manner
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to assess and solve problems
  • Solid understanding of the development (SDLC) and/or project life cycle, which includes all phases from discovery and analysis through implementation.

Preferred Skill Sets:

  • Willingness to engage with customers regularly.

  • Good understanding of agile development methodologies and the ability to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to.

  • RPA open source /community editions of tools such: RoboCorp, RoboFramework, UiPath, WorkFusion, etc
  • Cloud-hosted Computer Vision or Document Procession services: AWS Texttract, Comprehend, Augmented AI or Azure equivalents
  • Ability to build explainer-style short-persuasive videos & podcasts—using various digital tools. Ability to build Data Stories and various diagrams (mindmaps, concept diagram, process flows, customer journey)
  • Facilitate group workshops to extract knowledge of existing processes
