Sandwich/Salad Team Member
Position Objective:
To fulfill over-the-counter and catering sandwich/salad needs by accurately and efficiently producing salads according to established recipes; keeping a clean, organized bar; maintaining a well-stocked bar by prepping sandwich/salad bar ingredients as needed.

Position Objective:
To fulfill over-the-counter and catering sandwich/salad needs by accurately and efficiently producing salads according to established recipes; keeping a clean, organized bar; maintaining a well-stocked bar by prepping sandwich/salad bar ingredients as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Open and close the sandwich/salad bar.
- Re-stocking fresh ingredients, organizing and cleaning as necessary
- Perform any necessary kitchen prep and slice our fresh-baked breads/Make salad mix.
- If necessary, perform kitchen prep
- Know details of how/where each ingredient is stored overnight
- Produce Sandwiches/Salads for catering and over-the-counter needs
- Organize catering tickets to plan morning production of catering sandwiches/salads
- Make any over-the-counter sandwiches/salads
- Become familiar with our sandwich and salad recipes, but maintain an attention to detail in order to correctly prepare any customer-modified orders
- Be quick, accurate and organized
- Maintain a sense of urgency, high intensity, attention to detail and organized workspace, especially during catering hours and lunch rush
- Understand how to use equipment
- Know how to use knives, bread sliver, microwaves, walk-in, freezer, and sandwich/salad bar itself
- Perform necessary kitchen prep:
- Prepare for following day, according to the kitchen prep chart
- Practice good rotation methods on sandwich bar ingredients.
- Perform additional projects/duties as assigned by management.
- Physically able to work an eight (8) hour day or more while on your feet
- Able to bend and lift up to 35lbs.
- Ability to perform basic mathematics on the spot
- Sharp attention to detail
- Able to read and speak English
- Food Handler's Certified in states with requirement
