Our Garden Segment is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst in Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for assisting in forecasting, budgeting, month-end close and financial analysis. Leadership and collaboration with other members of the finance and cross-functional teams is paramount to achieving objectives.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Assist the Business Unit with financial-based business decisions through the development of relevant financial modeling, tools, and analysis to help achieve greater insight into financial results of the business
- Implement/improve monthly financial reporting through development of standardized reports. Continuously seek to improve efficiency and/or simplification of process
- Maintain and manage monthly forecast model including updating actuals, submitting forecast, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy; seek to improve model with end goal of ease of maintenance and enhanced visibility
- Assist in preparation and submission of the annual Budget
- Partner with finance director in month, quarter and year end reporting to business leadership including variance reporting, narrative creation, and accuracy of results
- Assist in monthly financial reporting to Segment/Corporate each month. Will encompass full P&L and Balance Sheet analysis including sales data, product costing and SG&A spend
- Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives
- Foster strong working relationships with peers and management in order to develop efficient and effective cross-functional relationships
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, with 4+ years of experience in similar environment with increased responsibility
- MBA is a plus
- Relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Understanding and experience in ROI, IRR, and breakeven analysis
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to focus on detail without losing sight of the larger business perspective
- Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills, with proficiency using Microsoft Office and various financial software packages
- Ability to work independently; deal with ambiguity; flexibility and able to adapt to change
- Proven track record of business partnering through analysis for decision support
- Team player, able to work cross functionally and with all levels in the organization
- Strong problem-solving abilities, including a willingness to perform whatever tasks are required to complete a project
- Commitment to process improvements and the ability to think "out of the box"
- Hyperion, Cognos, Tableau, Alloy experience a is plus
- Experience working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment is preferred
- Marketing and/or Sales finance experience is a plus
- Manufacturing or Consumer Products experience is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic travel)
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
