Receiving Department Lead - Vail Resorts Distribution Center - Full-time / Part-time

The Receiving Department Lead is Responsible for leading daily work of receiving staff, following dock processes and procedures and first in first out processing in conjuction with daily priorities.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Prioritize receiving staff work load to meet daily production goals and handle or solve escalated issues and problems.
• Provide associates with additional support and coaching as needed, managing workload on a first in first out basis (FIFO).
• Unloads trucks, seperates boxes according to purchase order sheets, and organizes shipments according to warehouse stations (special orders, rentals, shop supplies, etc).
• Maintain shipment and receiving paperwork, such as packing slips and bill of ladings, in system.
• Works closely with the data entry team by providing accurate paperwork on recieved shipments.
• Provides support to warehouse processors.
• Notify leadership of any hiring or staffing needs, coordinating staff planning in conjunction with leadership and training new associates.

Job Requirements:

• High School Dipoloma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years related work experience
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn
• Ability to learn and use RF scanner
• English fluency
• Independent decision making ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally
