Sales Enablement Manager, Business Development

Our Medical and Patient Communications team is a full-service Medical Communications agency, with bases within Europe and the USA. Supporting our clients from Phase II onwards, we provide highly impactful communications programmes to engage healthcare professionals, payers and patients, which harness the power of IQVIA’s healthcare data, domain expertise, transformative technology, and advanced analytics to drive healthcare forward.

The Medical and Patient Communications group is growing strongly, and we are forming a dedicated Business Development team to drive our expansion. Our Business Development Manager will be responsible for sales support and enablement for our communications team.

This role would suit a candidate either with a sales enablement background or alternatively a business development professional who has a passion for process and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of our sales triage, pipeline and reporting process and analytics
  • Creation and maintenance of core proposal response resources
  • Assistance with preparation of proposals and presentations in conjunction with MPC Business Development Team for prospective and existing clients
  • Support with creating effective and visually appealing content 
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders create and maintain content
  • Research and present market data related to target markets, prospective clients, competitive intelligence, and industry topics and trends 
  • Update and maintain databases and produce reports when required 
  • Build and maintain client knowledge and show intellectual curiosity
  • Work on ad hoc projects when requested

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Relevant degree / professional qualifications; or
  • Demonstrated experience in business development or sales enablement  
  • Understanding of tendering process and associated activities 
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstratable influencing skills up to a senior level
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Energetic and flexible, with ability to work on own initiative,
  • Well organised to support multiple projects and work under pressure
  • Expert in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and CRM systems (SFDC would be a plus)
  • Experience working within or selling into the Pharmaceutical industry would be preferred

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in similar role within a medical communications agency
