CAREGiver - Full-time / Part-time

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal Care and Bathing Assistance
• Walking, Dressing, and Transferring Assistance
• Alzheimer's / Dementia Care
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

To start applicants must have:

• At least one year of previous experience
• A 2 step TB test, quanitferon blood draw, or chest x-ray
• Clear background checks and drug test in accordance with state requirements
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

During these trying times your safety is our priority!  All CAREGivers are provided with proper PPE, including but not limited to:

• Gloves
• Hand Sanitizer
• Masks
• Face shields

We have a variety of shifts available that can work around your schedule with the potential for overtime! 

Shifts start at a 3 hour minimum and go all the way to 12 hours.  Full-time or Part-time schedules are available.  All CAREGivers must have a least one day of weekend availability.

Currently we have shifts available for:

• ALL Daytime Hours
• Overnight (12 hour awake shifts)
• Live-In
• Weekend Only
