We are looking for a professional and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Resident Care Manager. The individual in this position is responsible for the direct leadership and management of the Resident Care department. They supervise the Resident Care Assistants, Senior Resident Care Assistants (Med Assist), Shift Coordinators, Resident Care Supervisors and the Resident Administrative Coordinator. They also manage the services offered to meet or exceed federal, state and local standards and coordinate the overall operation of Resident Care including assistance with medication management supervision. They are responsible for ensuring high performance, integrity and adherence to community standards, goals and objectives.

Education and/or Experience:
- Preferred: A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or one to two years related experience in a similar role
- Preferred: Experience in Alzheimer’s care and/or dementia care.
- Preferred: CORE Trained.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Current Practical Nursing License or equivalent issued in the state conducting business.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be familiar with current licensure rules and regulations governing the community.
- Must have the ability to effectively understand and use community electronic care programs and scheduling programs as well as perform basic computer skills.
- Must have the ability to train, coach and mentor staff.
- Must be able to recognize unusual behavior or significant changes in condition with community residents.
- Must have ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret Resident Care goals, objectives, policies and procedures, as well as those of the community.
- Must be willing and able to make decisions when responsible for the Community.
Work Environment:
- Constant standing, walking, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and/or lifting, primarily in an office environment.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

Required qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to comfortably lift 20 lbs
- Speaks English
- At least bachelor's degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
- Medical license/certification: LPN
