RCA – RESIDENT CARE ASSISTANT - Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for a professional and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Resident Care Assistant. This individual assists Care Leadership in meeting resident care goals and provides care and services to the residents, including but not limited to: assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, etc. Light housekeeping or assistance in dining room during service times may be required.

Education and/or Experience: 

• Ability to read, write, speak clearly and follow written and oral instructions in English. 
• Preferred: Experience in resident care.

Other Skills and Abilities: 

• Must be able to recognize unusual behavior or physical condition of residents. 
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 
• Must have the ability to effectively understand and use community electronic care programs and technology. 

Work Environment:

• Constant standing, walking, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and/or lifting. 
• Responsible for keeping a clean and neat work area.

Applicants must be aware of and understand the needs of the elderly and be able to interact effectively with residents, their families, other staff members and guests. 

We are a Drug-Free Workplace, and all employees must pass a drug screening prior to their start date. Applicants must pass a Level II Background Screening and test negative for COVID-19 prior to starting orientation. Background screening and COVID-19 tests are paid for by the company. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Speaks English
• At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
• 6+ months of experience in the healthcare industry
