Employee Type:Full timeLocation:IL Oak BrookJob Type:Research and Development Packaging & LabelingJob Posting Title:Packaging EngineerJob Description:Manage the design/plan/validation and implementation of new packaging technologies, line extensions, package/product improvement and technical service for Treehouse Foods that meet product offering requirements.Position Responsibilities: Executes moderate to complex technical assignments including cost savings, quality improvements, operation support and new product developmentUses technical expertise on cross-functional project teams and technical oversight of internal and external manufacturing start-ups and ongoing technical service to independently determine and develop technical approach to solutions on product development teamsFunctions as the Technical Leader for focused projects, providing direction and monitoring various associates, support groups or contractors as project dictates.
