Description:

The ACD Copywriter is a conceptual creative leader, and works in conjunction with the Creative Director, and a talented team of designers, photographers, marketers, and external agency creatives. This position is responsible for writing copy from high-level conceptual ideas to executing daily copywriting for marketing deliverables.
  • Creates great ideas both big (i.e. national rebranding campaigns) and considerably more minute (i.e. a social post born out of said rebranding campaign). Invents innovative, creative ideas quickly on limited budgets.
  • Participates / leads brainstorm and ideation sessions both internally and externally with agency partners.
  • Translates ideas across various media (TV, Digital, Print, Experiential, Branded Content, Social).
  • Works with Graphic Design manager to produce standout and strategically focused concepts and campaigns that integrate the creative vision across concept, copy and visual. Assists Creative Director in evaluating creative work products.
  • Writes smart, sparkling, on-strategy copy, across a broad range of media.
  • Grows with, learns from, collaborates with and teaches the greater creative team, as well as a wide variety of other departments (from leadership to CRM to digital media).
  • Creates, maintains and delivers standards for brand voice.
  • Helps develop and review creative briefs that provide strategic insight and creative inspiration.
  • Takes responsibility for projects from start to finish.
  • Manages and works independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects.
  • Leads a team of creatives and collaborates with entire creative department to ensure assets deliver against brand direction.
  • Works with creative director to address performance, workflow, and professional development and develops long-range plans for the creative team.
