Position: Curated Marketing Manager Reports to: Head of Online Marketing Property(s): Springboard Hotels & Resorts Location: Los Angeles Home Office Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic, creative, analytical and detail-oriented marketing guru to join Springboard Hospitality as a Curated Marketing Manager. If you are a self-starter, motivated to generate revenue through creative and strategic tactics, and love the hotel industry, this may be the position for you. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing thoughtful integrated marketing strategies for hotels across the US Mainland and Hawaii; this includes maintaining websites, writing copy, designing hotel collateral, creating marketing ads and email marketing. You will also be working closely with our digital agency partners to move projects forward and implement best-in-class SEO/SEM strategies. Our ideal candidate is someone who can work in a fast-moving environment, able to prioritize tasks and make an immediate impact. You have a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of SEO and knack for copywriting that will get the attention of consumers. ONGOING + EVERYDAY TASKS - Oversee day-to-day management of copy and images on all Springboard Hospitality affiliated websites and update where necessary. - Work with agency partners to ensure brand standards are met for ad copy, email marketing copy and display advertising. - Maintain content across OTAs, search engines and platforms such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google My Business and make corrections where needed. - Work with Director and agency partners to contribute feedback during production of new websites and perform quality assurance for pre- and post-launch of sites. - Liaise with Sales and Revenue Management to ensure brand standards are consistent across platforms. - Ensure all deadlines are met for Online Marketing deliverables. - Maintain the digital asset library and provide assets to stakeholders and partners. - Document, track, and monitor systems problems and workflows with eCommerce and IT departments and vendors to ensure timely resolution; Manages day-to-day work of outside vendors. - Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external department customers. - Provide campaign reporting and analysis to stakeholders. - Assist with creating and deploying email marketing campaigns - Perform special projects and other duties as requested by Director or executive team. - Travel as necessary. Job Requirements EXPERIENCE : - 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, or a similar role, in a hotel environment is required. - Familiarity with SynXis CRS is required. - Must exhibit superior judgment and decision-making abilities and must be able to apply logical and creative thinking to solve complex problems. - Familiarity with content management systems and HTML knowledge is preferred. - Experience creating and deploying email campaigns through various CRM platforms - Advanced knowledge of computer software (including Office suite) and web analytics tools is preferred. Intermediate Photoshop knowledge is preferred. - Proficient in analyzing hotel marketing reports from Google Analytics, SynXis, and other hotel reporting tools - Must have discriminating perceptions of text/graphic presentation and ability to communicate distinctions to agency partners for revisions. - Must have a strong understanding of visual design in digital applications and web pages. - Must possess excellent writing and proofreading skills. - Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and think creatively and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Must have strong problem resolution skills. - Must be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects. - Must have excellent time management, documentation and organizational skills to be able to multi-task and work independently and remotely. - Must be courteous, friendly and professional at all times. - Must have the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal (e.g., property associates, off-property sales channels) and external (e.g., existing and potential accounts/customers) stakeholders PHYSICAL ABILITIES: - Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, bending and stooping. - Repetitive hand motion (typing) for extended periods of time. - Skills and Abilities: - Adaptable experience with travel industry reservation systems - Adaptable experience with hotel property management systems - Strong experience in hospitality forecasting, pricing and inventory control - Cross brand or product line experience - Strong Management and leadership skills - Operates with a sense of urgency and discipline OTHER EXPECTATIONS: - Abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Springboard Hospitality Associate Handbook. - Demonstrate a working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures. - Travel required: As needed for hotel familiarization and to meet with colleagues. - Hours Required: Must primarily work during OLS business hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (PST), while understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and some weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.
