We are currently seeking a Database Administration Specialist to join our team in STERLING, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Job Duties:
- Provides support services to applications and other databases through coordinating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting.
- Responsible for the documentation of procedures and the monitoring of critical business technology.
- Proactively validate conclusions associated with planning, gathering, and documentation of tactical technical requirements for assigned segments of the IT landscape.
- Ensure quality delivery of solutions that are contemporary and in accordance with Industry Best Practices.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of data across the landscape.
- Supports the maintenance security and integrity controls within Oracle Apps and DB Landscape. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management.
- Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
- Accountable for meeting own target which will impact the discipline.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years' experience with Oracle database administration.
- US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
