Job Description Summary

Assist senior members of C&Ws Agency Consulting Group (ACG) with leasing and marketing a portfolio
Provides analytical, marketing and some administrative support to senior level personnel, as well as transaction services in the leasing and management of buildings or portfolios within the NYC Tristate Region.

Job Description

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS -

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing, marketing or real estate related activities
  • Bachelors degree in real estate, marketing business, or related field
  • Salesperson / Broker license required within nine months of employment
  • Expert knowledge in MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence (BI) applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of NYC commercial real estate landscape and market participants
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with co-workers, clients and other stakeholders
  • Skill in preparing agency leasing and strategy plans which consider market conditions, property conditions, etc.
  • Knowledge of preparing financial analyses and models
  • Knowledge of lease negotiations and lease document provisions/clauses (i.e., lease renewals, expansions, recasts and terminations) and their potential impact on a buildings net operating income (NOI).
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with desire to continually exceed client expectations.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (in conjunction and coordination with senior personnel)-

  • Coordinate preparation of asset marketing programs.
  • Assist in the development of agency leasing plans which consider market conditions, strategic stacking, capital resources, disposition plans and building value.
  • Development of unique strategies and creative approaches to marketing agency properties.
  • Work with various external partners, i.e., architects, marketing firms and other consultants that are used to meet client objectives,
  • Coordination of marketing efforts and distribution including follow up and list management efforts.
  • Assist in new business and lease RFP process
  • Prepare and evaluate third-party marketing firm RFPs and responses.
  • Develop metrics to identify assets requiring additional leasing and marketing assistance.
  • Preparing and updating reports and other materials (stack plans, lease abstractions, etc.) for ownership
  • Preparing financial analyses
  • Liaising between brokers and ownership and various third-party vendors
