Low Voltage Technician / Installer

We are a specialty electronics design & integration company focusing on residential and commercial projects. In particular we specialize in the design, installation & maintenance of distributed audio & video systems, media rooms, lighting, shading & environmental controls as well as data, phone, & video services infrastructure. Our control systems include Control4, Savant, and Lutron.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze blue prints, schematics, and drawings of low voltage A/V systems to plan and execute successful installation
• Manage a crew and install A/V systems as assigned, to include wiring, terminations, install equipment, and testing.
• Updates and maintains technical documentation.
• Use ticket/support (Q360) system to track, document, and resolve technical problems.
• Maintains assigned vehicle and keeps equipment in excellent condition.
• Establishes effective working relationships with those contacted during the course of work, and communicates clearly, concisely, and effectively, both orally and in writing, with technical and non-technical individuals.
• Manages multiple priorities and deadlines, and works effectively with project manager with minimum supervision

Requirements:

• 4+ years as an Install Technician
• Understands signal flow, systems control, and distributed audio and video systems.
• Superior skills in cable installation and cable management
• Attention to detail and excellent workmanship
• Responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, well-organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
• Solutions oriented
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
