Night shift: 7p - 7a; 3-2 schedule

Compensation: $17/hr

JOB SUMMARY:
In adherence with safe operating procedures, load fiber and operate equipment to produce quality baled fiber. Responsible for quality, production, waste, uptime, and organization of work area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate forklift to deliver fiber to hoppers
  • Load layers of fiber in one or more hoppers
  • Monitor quality of product
  • Pack bales using wrap and ties
  • Scan bales into inventory
  • Troubleshoot quality and performance of equipment
  • Assist Maintenance in repairing equipment

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily operations of a non-woven production line ensuring a quality product, maintaining a safe environment and achieving desired key performance measurements. Processes include opening, carding, entangling, drying, calendaring, winding, slitting, and packaging equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Inspects equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs. Recommends improvements.
  • Changeover process: setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders. Ensure product recipe compliance.
  • Ensures all process parameters are set as per the recipe or within the acceptable range defined by Process to ensure a quality product.
  • Brings samples to the lab per defined inspection plan. Report any Quality issue with incoming raw material or finished good materials to the Team Lead and to Quality.
  • Fills all Process and Quality records as requested. Reports any changes for process parameters, any issues with equipment as needed to the Team Lead and Process Engineers.
  • Performs preventive maintenance of equipment. Operator PMs are completed and signed-off. Assists to remove chokes, to replace belts, and other routine maintenance. Participates in card repair such as rewiring and card set-ups.
  • Drives forklift to move various items in manufacturing area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours (12-hour rotating shifts)
 
POSITION: Utility Maintenance Technician (4)
SHIFT: Swing shift
COMPENSATION: $17/hr

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for troubleshooting water system, dust system, and Plant Utility system problems, and continuously monitoring electrical and mechanical devices as part of a predictive and preventive maintenance plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs daily preventive maintenance.
  • Facilitate outside contractors when on site for Utility activities (Air, Water, Fire, Doors, etc)
  • Daily review of Air systems maintenance.
  • Daily checks of the roof top units for the determination of operational condition and cleanliness of filter media or coils.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs problems with all equipment.
  • Identify electrical and mechanical problems by using available test equipment. Repairing what is within the individual's technical knowledge.
  • Good working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic devices and principles.
  • Assists in the installation of new equipment and equipment modification projects within assigned areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 year technical degree or 2 years of experience working as a maintenance technician with industrial equipment, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Working awareness of 24V, 120V, and 480V power.
  • Must possess basic electrical/electronic circuit knowledge and intermediate mechanical systems knowledge.

COMPENSATION: $18/hr temp-to-perm, then $19/hr
   
POSITION: Slitter Operator in Training, Line 6 (6)
SHIFT: Training schedule: M-F, 8a-5p; move to SWING shift after 2-4 months
