As our cashier, you'll be the face of our pizzeria, greeting customers with a big smile and taking their orders with accuracy and efficiency. You'll also get to showcase your amazing cash handling skills while keeping our customers satisfied and happy.

Job Description:

Our busy pizzeria is currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all customers have a positive experience when ordering and paying for their meals. The cashier will also be responsible for managing cash and credit card transactions, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and take their orders accurately and efficiently
Process cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
Answer customer inquiries about menu items, pricing, and special promotions
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping the cash register area clean and free of clutter
Assist with food preparation and packaging as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by management

High school diploma or equivalent desired but not essential for prep area. 
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location. 
Must be able to perform simple math calculations and make change.
Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must have the ability to lift, stoop, and bend.
Must have the ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds frequently.
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with others
