Client in Visalia area is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly tech.
Responsibilities
$13-$18 hourly DOE
Responsibilities
- Read and follow mechanical assembly drawings and schematics, layout drawings and bills of material.
- Align, fit, assemble, connect, and install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
- Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and to ensure proper operation.
- Teamwork with multiple members involved in each project and work collaboratively.
- Under direction, may partner with Guarding team to assist in guarding manufacturing.
- Be receptive of instruction and on-the-job training from Guarding team during assistance and continued development of guarding manufacturing skills.
- Follow and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Support company quality and rework standards and expectations.
- Communicate recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Understand and meet company quality standards and objectives to fulfill customers’ needs.
- Carry out other duties reasonable within capability as required by Manager.
- Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped spaces.
- Physical effort that may include the lifting of supplies and materials that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of mechanical maintenance or assembly experience.
- Experience working with mechanical assembly projects desired.
- Maintenance experience in Auto/Diesel, Mechanical Service, and/or Fabrication desired.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Blueprint and mechanical schematic reading capabilities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
$13-$18 hourly DOE
