Quality Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Kelly Services is looking for Quality Engineers to work for one of our top Aerospace Industry client in Santa Isabel, PR. We’re here to help you find something great that works for you—so you won’t miss a moment of what really matters,

Job Summary:

Assure compliance with the quality management system, policies and procedures. Provide support to manufacturing operations and assure compliance with product specifications and regulatory standards. Provide liaison with other departments such as operations, engineering and with customer representatives in problem solving analysis involving product quality. Establish a mechanism to evaluate and measure quality, product materials discrepancies and investigate and report non-conformances. Support and participate in internal/external auditing activities. Provide guidance to the inspectors on the workmanship standards. Prepare and implement quality programs associated with contract requirements or as directed by management.

Education/Certifications:

Quality Engineer Position

• BS degree in Engineering with 3+ years' experience (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred)
• MAIMS degree with 2+ years' experience
• Available 1st and  2nd shift

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience in quality roles and manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience dealing with external customer; strong customer focus skills
• Computer knowledge on Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
• Oriented and experience in a team environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS91 OO preferred
• Experience in auditing preferred
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Project management skills
• Member of CIAPR preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Spanish
