Associate Director and Head of Global Engagement Team Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 23405731 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $80,100 - $135,600 Position Information Reporting to Assistant Dean/ Chief Experience Officer (CXO), the Associate Director and Head of Global Engagement is responsible for meeting enrollment goals by developing, planning, executing, and managing student recruitment activities for assigned academic programs, including inquiry/applicant follow-up, recruitment events, and engagement with external and community organizations. Responsible, in collaboration with the Director of Student Experience, for student coaching, advising, admissions, and enrollment. The position is also responsible for meeting student retention and enrollment benchmarks in all programs by pro-actively providing superior, student-centered coaching and advising on issues related to student success. This position strategically collaborates with all Extension divisions- Dean's Office Partnership Engagement Team, Student Success, and Academic Affairs. This position will primarily work remotely with an occasional need to work in person on campus and some international travel. PLEASE NOTE: University of California career employees who have passed their probationary period will receive priority consideration for this position. If a qualified pool of internal candidates is not identified, qualified external candidates may be considered at the discretion of the hiring department. Experience Experience Requirement Experience working with CRMs to improve conversion and retention. Preferred Demonstrated experience with international recruitment and enrollment management in an educational institutions. Required Experience working in a result oriented environment. Required 6 - 10 years of related experience. Required Experience with data driven performance management. Required Experience developing marketing strategy that leads to enrollment conversion. Required Previous supervisory/managerial experience. Preferred
Special Conditions Special Condition Requirement Travel Outside of Normal Business Hours Required Occasional travel for university related business meetings, conferences and/or professional development. Required Must possess or obtain a Valid CA Driver License in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles, if driving a university/personal vehicle for university related business. Ability to analyze problems, recommend, and implement solutions.
Working knowledge of order entry methods and techniques and related product knowledge.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Leadership/supervisorial skills, including skills to lead, direct, mentor, evaluate and motivate staff.
Supervisory skills to select, train, evaluate, lead and motivate, and as necessary take disciplinary action with subordinate staff.
Interpersonal communication skills to effectively deal with all levels of the organization and external constituencies.
Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of the campus and/or medical center, including its achievements, mission, goals, vision, objectives and infrastructure.
