UCHU Sushi and Fried Chicken in Portland’s lively Mississippi Ave Neighborhood is looking for a front of house Busser! UCHU is known for its great food, affordable happy hours, big fish tanks, and fun atmosphere.
Applicants with restaurant experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate!
Requirements:
- Previous work history and references.
- Must be friendly, calm, focused and efficient in a high stress environment
- Must be team oriented, always looking to help coworkers and the restaurant as a whole
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be available to work days, nights and weekends
- Current Food Handlers card
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining room and patio.
- Putting away clean glassware, filling water bottles, and generally keeping the restaurant clean and organized during rush hours.
- Running food to tables.
- Work with our server team to provide an excellent service experience.
- Receiving and processing takeout orders
