POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSEUnder the direction of the nurse manager and assistant nurse manager, the purpose of this position is to assist with oversight of efficient operations to protect and promote health, prevent illness and injury, and alleviate suffering through nursing diagnosis and treatment. Demonstrates high-level leadership accountability in the professional practice setting through oversight of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic care and advocate for patients and families served.

QUALIFICATIONS

CA RN license

BLS
-
District approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Nationally recognized certification per specialty Core Curriculum Pathway.

BSN, MSN, or currently enrolled in RN-BSN program.

Minimum of two years RN experience in specialty area.

If assigned to Emergency Dept, ICU, ICCU, CVICU, Cardiac Services, Medical Telemetry 4T, PACU, ASC, Cath Lab: requires ACLS within one year of hire/transfer.
