As a Sr. Product Manager leading Prime Pricing, you will develop, plan, and execute a long-term pricing strategy that balances growth and profitability for Prime programs around the globe. Your work will culminate in broad-reaching, customer-facing launches that will impact tens of millions of customers. Your work will enable investments that will in turn accelerate the flywheel of innovation and unlock the next phase of world-class Prime benefits. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Amazon Consumer flywheel and have previous experience setting a vision and strategy for long-term business growth. In addition, she/he will have a track record of delivering high impact launches and be effective working cross-functionally with software development, TPM, BI design, finance, and other business teams. This is a great opportunity for an analytically-oriented and results-focused individual who is passionate about diving deep into all aspects of the business to deliver sound strategies that will help shape the future of Prime. You will need to think creatively and strategically across all aspects of the Prime product, including member acquisition and retention, considering customer segments and their needs; member value; customer communication; macro-economic factors; and the rapidly evolving competitive landscape. You will consider all of these factors together when determining the optimal pricing and go-to-market strategy. Responsibilities include: * Working closely with product, tech, science, and business leaders across Prime, including customer service, marketing, public relations, international expansion, and finance teams execute Prime pricing strategies across both new and existing locales. * Managing and influencing a variety of senior business leaders, within Prime and across Amazon, to establish and execute against long-term pricing goals. * Developing scalable metrics and tools to evaluate program performance, member value, and profitability in order to make monetization decisions that optimally balance long-term growth and profitability. * Building scalable mechanisms and products to manage pricing operations globally, from evaluation to launch. * Identifying new opportunities to drive member growth and improve monetization outcomes for new customers and price sensitive segments. * Partnering with science (Economics and ML) and tech teams to develop new applications and science-driven tools for pricing use cases. * 5+ years of relevant experience in eCommerce, product marketing, product development, or management consulting or investment banking * Experience with interpreting data and making business recommendations * Strong communication skills and clear customer focus * Strong bias for data-driven decision-making and experience in distilling complex products into client-facing solutions * Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or a related field of study * MBA * Deep experience with subscription businesses * * Strong project management experience and fanatical attention to detail * * Experience with managing product roadmaps and implementing scaled processes * * Quick decision-making abilities demonstrating bias for action under tight timing and pressure * * Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction * Experience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Product Management, Retail, and BI * Superior communication skills and clear customer focus * Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects * Proven ability to move fast in an ambiguous environment without close supervision * * Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools for process optimization and reporting * Experience thinking strategically and execute methodically Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
