Job Description

Job Title: CS Event Coordinator

Location: Corporate

Department: Corporate Services

Job Summary: The Corporate Services Event Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, logistical planning, support and execution of corporate events on campus, including but not limited to the Blossom Hill property, Red Roof and Wawa Beverage Center. The CS Event Coordinator is the primary point of contact between the event owner and Corporate Services.

Principal Duties:
  • Manage the event intake process for Corporate Services which includes scheduling of corporate campus events, meetings and celebrations to understand event owner's requirements, including budgets and planning parameters.
  • Communicate and coordinate Corporate Services support for all events, including space requirements, resources and catering to meet the event owner's requests.
  • Manage the Corporate Services event calendar, including spaces at Blossom Hill and Red Roof Campus to understand how to strategically utilize resources in an efficient manner.
  • Coordinate the set-up and break down of on campus events including the completion of the pre and post event forms to ensure the event space is properly prepared and restored.
  • Manage "day of" event logistics including internal Corporate Services resource management, problem solving and event timing and execution to ensure a pleasant experience for attendees.
  • Work closely with the Catering Lead to maximize efficiency of food presentation, serving or any other needs of the event owner.
  • Frequently collaborate with the Corporate Services Coordinator to ensure proper communication between all internal and external parties.
  • Manage the day to day tasks for services at the Grahame Wood Center including communication with outside vendors, composing letters and emails, receiving guests and visitors and all other processes for daily operations.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Retail Implementation and Corporate Services Manager.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional, customer-oriented manner
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support events.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Degree in business management or event management preferred.
  • 2+ years experience managing corporate events. Some experience with facility or operations management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Publisher
  • SAP experience or equivalent software knowledge
