Job Summary:

Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization's care center and regional operations development programs. Collaborates with all corporate business units to ensure care center and regional leaders have the educational tools and resources needed to drive

operations performance, patient quality, employee engagement, regulatory compliance, and fiscal success.

Essential Functions:
  • Directs, develops, designs, implements, analyzes, assesses and consults on role-specific orientation and development programs for the care center and regional leadership positions.
  • Analyzes data and identifies trends as a measure to evaluate, modify and enhance current programs
  • Collaborates with senior leadership and other corporate departments in planning, directing, organizing and delivering new and revised individual and/or group education.
  • Aligns training programs with business needs and goals.
  • Ensures effective delivery of content, ie. Prepares SME's, RDCO's, etc. to deliver content, and oversee the performance of people who deliver content.
  • Designs learning solutions to meet the identified needs of regional and care center leadership, prepares goals and outcome measures to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Ensures training program records of participation and evaluation are maintained.
  • Ensures program and educational resources are maintained and accessible.
  • Seeks and applies knowledge of current industry standards, corporate initiatives and current technologies to enhance quality and delivery of development programs.
  • Conducts routine needs assessments to determine specific learning needs and priorities of training programs.
  • Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives.
  • Executes effective performance redirection when needed.
  • Develops employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on the job training and development opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to influence and work with senior level management.
  • Strong Analytic skills—experienced in conducting program performance analysis
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills
  • High level of knowledge in use of Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare, business or related field.
  • Three (3+) years of home health or hospice operations leadership experience.
Preferred:
  • Three (3+) years in clinical education, educational and/or training development or responsible for providing oversight and management of employee education.
Travel:
  • Moderate degree of travel.
