IT Help Desk Technician

The opening is for an IT Intern, IT Help Desk L1, or IT Help Desk L2, depending on experience, education, and qualifications.

This is a FULL-TIME ONSITE position in Falls Church, VA.

Required Skills:

• 1 - 3 year of experience in: IT support Desk / Support
• Advanced knowledge in supporting: MS Windows, MS Office, Microsoft 365 Software, Hardware, and Information Security
• Intermediate knowledge in supporting: Networking, Active Directory, and Computer Imaging
• Organized and capable of multitasking in a fast paced, team driven environment
• Ability to handle 24/7 on-call rotational duty

Responsibilities:

• Support 300+ users both onsite and remotely for all IT related issues
• Support 150+ field location back-office networks
• Monitor, triage, and resolve IT support tickets
• Escalate IT support tickets to other IT divisions
• Provide Audio/Visual support for conference and telecommunication systems
• Manage and maintain IT assets/inventory and informational databases
• Provide IT orientation and IT security training to end-users
• Travel to field locations for IT support, as needed

Desired Certifications (one or more):

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft Certification(s)
