Title: Senior Data Engineer, RCM Analytics
* This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S.
Overview of Position
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for supporting the integration of analytics in our (RCM) Revenue Cycle Management Analytics products for Change Healthcare, reporting to the VP of Engineering, Platform Integration Services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and have experience working with large data data-driven innovative solutions. You are focused on results, a self-starter, able to put customers first, team first, and have demonstrated success with a focus on customer impact.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Own select Analytics data pipelines and data preparation (Scala/Spark)
Deliver high-level OLAP cubes for Analytics to enable business intelligence, self-service analytics, and predictive modeling to significantly improve the user experience for Providers (e.g., Doctors, Medical Assistants, Pharmacists), Patients, and Payers (e.g., Medicare, Health Insurance)
Lead the collections and refinery of Thick Data to augment Business Intelligence with stakeholders' stories, AI-driven recommendations while enabling automated root-cause analysis through a business knowledge-base
Build, test, and deploy predictive models through batch & API in an AWS ecosystem (e.g., Sagemaker).
Work closely with product management teams and platform engineering teams to change Healthcare in the US
What are the minimum requirements needed to be considered for this position?
5+ years' work related experience in Data Engineering (e.g., SQL, Scala, Python) with sound coding practices (e.g., style guide, modularity, unit test, best practices)
Experience in data store design (data lakes; relational, columnar, NoSQL databases; analytics/OLAP cubes)
Experience managing internal client-facing projects, troubleshooting technical issues, working with cross-functional stakeholders
Master’s degree in Computer Science, related STEM discipline, or equivalent practical experience

AWS certification (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR)
Scrum Master certification
Experience with security practices and industry standards security technologies
